In a March 16 Skype interview with The Pulse Network, UNC student Rachel Rose Jackson, the subject of a Feb. 4 Spotlight feature and runner-up in the national Students in Service Awards, provides details of how during a 2009 study abroad trip to Ghana, she co-founded a nonprofit organization that provides ongoing relief and support to women and children living on the streets of the city of Accra.
