Biological Science Faculty Selected to Serve on State Committee

Teresa Higgins, who teaches science and science education in the School of Biological Sciences, has been selected to serve on the Colorado Model Content Standards Science Review Subcommittee. The Subcommittee is charged by the Colorado Department of Education with updating the K-12 science standards in Colorado so that they include 21st century skills. The Colorado State Board of Education is scheduled to adopt revised content standards in December.
