Faculty interested in leading a study abroad trip during summer of 2013 are asked to submit their proposal to the Office of Extended Studies by Nov. 1 to allow staff sufficient time to finalize costs and facilitate recruitment of students for the trips.
Additionally, planning ahead will allow for a well-planned and successful trip.

The Student Health Center has scheduled on-site flu shot and meningitis vaccination clinics in several campus locations during October and early-November. The next one is 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, in Weibking Hall. The flu shot costs $25 and can be paid for with cash or check. The meningitis vaccination is free and those receiving it should plan on spending an additional 15 minutes at the clinic site. The locations, dates and times of the remaining clinics are:

Due to technical difficulties during the uploading of Dining Services payroll deduction charges to the Banner information management system this month, charges made between Aug.16 and Sept. 15 will not be deducted from September paychecks. Instead, charges for that period will be deducted from October paychecks along with any charges that are made from Sept. 16-Oct. 15.
Supervisors are asked to be sure to communicate this information to staff who use payroll deduction for Dining Services charges but don't have regular access to their university email account.
Dining Services apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciates employees' understanding.

The University of Northern Colorado Police Department will take part in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Saturday, Sept. 29, by accepting unwanted or expired medications from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the A-1 (lower) parking lot on the north side of the University Center.
Only medications in a plastic bags or prescription bottles will be accepted. Items that will not be accepted include liquid medications, glass bottles and medical marijuana.
