The Office of Undergraduate Research is now accepting applications for the annual UNC Fall Undergraduate Research Symposium/NCUR Competition, scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13, with an application/abstract submission deadline of Monday, Oct. 8.
Eight undergraduate students with outstanding research will be accepted to present at the Nov. 13 symposium based on the application and abstract submission and two will then be selected to attend the National Conference on Undergraduate Research at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in April 2013. UNC will fund the students' travel and expenses if they are accepted to attend the NCUR.

The University Libraries recently acquired and now has available significant new electronic resources representing more than 1,800 electronic journal titles and 1,000 documentaries and other video content.
