Any employer who interviews, hires, supervises or works in any capacity with student employees (hourly, salaried or work study), or who is new to UNC within the last year is strongly encouraged by the Office of Student Employment to attend the Student Employer Training session from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Friday, June 14, in the Gunter Hall auditorium (room 1720).
Topics covered will include work study, I-9 forms and injury reporting, hiring of international students, payroll overview and forms, hiring students through the online job bank and other career resources, EPAF submissions, security issues, and any other student employment topics you would like covered.
Coffee and lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Cynthia Harling by Monday, June 10.

The final 2013-14 undergraduate online catalog and PDF print version will be available to the public on the UNC catalog homepage early next week. Bound print copies will also be available to purchase at lulu.com early next week.
The 2013-14 Graduate Catalog will be available later this summer and communication will be sent out at that time.
The Office of the Registrar has a new and improved website. The home page URL - http://www.unco.edu/regrec - hasn't changed but because of changes in URLs for sub-pages and in the site's navigation structure, faculty and staff should be aware of the following:
Here's a chance to help Greeley get three city blocks spruced up for free, and all you have to do is click your computer's mouse a couple of times. Greeley's one of 100 cities across the U.S. selected for "Main Street Matters" a competition sponsored by paint manufacturer Benjamin Moore.
If it gets enough online votes, the city will be among the 20 that will receive enough paint and supplies to paint the facades, porches, shutters and trim of three city blocks.
Voting for the competition ends June 30. To vote for Greeley, go to the Main Street Matters website, click on Colorado in the U.S. map and then click on "Greeley." Voters can cast a vote once per day.
