The UNC Warehouse has a limited amount of colored paper in various sizes available for departments to purchase. Since the inception of the Office Depot bid, the warehouse has discontinued stocking paper and has to clear out what remains. Please call Mick Schuch at 970-351-2250 for information on remaining colors and sizes.
The south wing of Ross Hall and Lawrenson Hall will undergo re-roofing operations beginning Friday, June 14, and lasting through the summer. Removal of a large amount of rock ballast from Ross Hall's roof will create short periods of noise in the mornings. Additionally, occupants and passersby of both buildings may notice unusual smells associated with products being used in the re-roofing process. Although the products are classified as "no-smell" and measures will be taken to reduce fumes entering the buildings, occupants will most likely notice the odors, which are completely normal for this type of project.
The Registrar's Office will host a retirement reception for Berna De Scott from 2-4 p.m. Friday, May 31, in the Centennial Hall room in Brown Hall. All members of the university community are invited to stop by and wish her well after 24 years of service at UNC.
Individual performance tickets and season subscriptions are now available for the 2013 season of UNC's Little Theatre of the Rockies, which will include performances of The Fantasticks, On Golden Pond, Private Lives, Little Shop of Horrors and Escanaba in da Moonlight. LTR is the oldest continually operating professional theater company in Colorado and one of the oldest in the nation. For a performance schedule and synopses, information on guest artists and and ticket information, visit the LTR web page.
UNC Today will continue to be published Monday through Friday through the summer provided there are campus announcements to share. To submit an announcement, use the online form. Upcoming events, including important deadlines, should be added to the online calendar.
