New Website for Office of the Registrar Debuts

The Office of the Registrar has a new and improved website. The home page URL - http://www.unco.edu/regrec - hasn't changed but because of changes in URLs for sub-pages and in the site's navigation structure, faculty and staff should be aware of the following:

  • You might need to refresh your browser or clear its cache to view new web pages.
  • If you have bookmarks or favorites to sub-pages on the Registrar's site, you may need to update them.
  • Multiple calendars on the old site have been combined into one calendar - the three-year calendar - available on the home page. Please refer to this calendar for official dates and deadlines.
  • If you link to the Registrar's website from your website, please check the links and make any updates as needed.
  • Please update any forms or documents you use that refer to specific locations within the Registrar's website.
  • If you're unable to locate information, or if you find broken links within the new site, please email Kathy Martin.

M Lot Closed for Most of Summer Starting May 28

M Lot will be closed from Tuesday, May 28, through mid-August for the removal and replacement of the existing asphalt pavement and concrete sidewalk improvements. Alles Drive will remain open for the duration of construction as will L and Y Lots. Please contact Nate Reinhard at 351-2383 for more information.

"47, a Dennis Morimoto Invitational" to Feature Work of 15 UNC Photo Students

All members of the university community are invited to a gallery exhibit opening reception and retirement celebration for Dennis Morimoto from 4-7 p.m. Friday, June 7, in Mariani Gallery in Guggenheim Hall.

To celebrate his retirement after 47 years as a teacher, mentor and leader, Morimoto, a photo imaging professor and director of the School of Art and Design, has invited 15 photographers who studied with him while they were students at UNC to exhibit their work. "47, a Dennis Morimoto Invitational" promises to be a showcase of the photographic talent of his students during Morimoto's career at UNC.

If you're unable to attend the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display at the Mariani Gallery June 7-July 30. The gallery is open Tuesday and Wednesday, 2-6 p.m.; and Thursday and Friday, noon-4 p.m. or by appointment by calling 351-2184.

Psychological Services Clinic Accepting Summer Clients

The Psychological Services Clinic is currently accepting clients for the summer semester, offering confidential low-cost counseling and psychological assessment services for UNC employees and students as well as community members.

Counseling fees start at $60 for 50-minute weekly sessions for the entire semester, with sessions availalbe for individuals (adults and adolescents), couples and families. Psychological assessments begin at $400.

Counseling is provided by advanced graduate students in the School of Applied Psychology and Counselor Education who are closely supervised by by licensed mental health professionals in the Counseling Psychology, School Psychology and Counselor Education and Supervision programs.
