McNair Scholars to Present June 27

UNC's McNair Scholars will present the results of their recently conducted research projects during the McNair Research Colloquium from 9 a.m.-noon Thursday, June 27, in Butler-Hancock 0193. Faculty, staff and students are invited to stop by as schedules permit to support the scholars:You don't need to attend the entire colloquium Refreshments will be provided.

Summer Campus Dining Information

Retail dining outlets open on campus this week include Subway (10:30 a.m.-4 p.m.) and Munchy Mart (8 a.m.-4 p.m.) in the University Center. Both of them and all other businesses on the lower level of the UC except the UNC Bookstore and Fan Shop will be closed May 20-June 2 due to construction. For information on businesses' re-openings and the summer opening of Holmes Dining Hall and the UC Food Court, visit Dining Services' website.

Reminder: Fiscal Year-End Training Event Today

All UNC business managers and administrative assistants are invited to attend an important fiscal year-end training and information session from 9 a.m.-noon today, May 14, in Columbine A and B at the University Center. The meeting is sponsored by Financial Services, with presentations by Purchasing and Contracts, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Human Resource Services, Resource Conservation and the Finance Office.

UNC Trustees’ Committee to Meet May 15

The finance and audit committee of the University of Northern Colorado's Board of Trustees will meet from 9 a.m.-noon Wednesday, May 15, in the fourth-floor boardroom of Carter Hall, intersection of 9th Avenue and 17th Street.

Discussion will include a state update from UNC President Kay Norton; an FY14 budget preview that includes enrollment, tuition and financial aid (trustees discussed a proposed budget at the March 8 meeting - recap at: http://www.unco.edu/news/?5027); and an internal audit update.

No action will be taken.
