The Monfort Executive Professor Speaker Series concludes Tuesday, April 16, when Walter Robb, co-CEO of Whole Foods Market, discusses how the company's "conscious capitalism" business model evolved and will be sustained during a presentation from 6:15-7:30 p.m. in Kepner Hall's Milne Auditorium (room 2050).
Robb joined Whole Foods Market in 1991 and operated the Mill Valley, Calif., store until he became president of the company's northern Pacific region in 1993. After expanding the region from two to 17 stores, he was named executive vice-president of operations in 2000, chief operating officer in 2001 and co-president in 2004. Now as co-CEO, Robb oversees six regions and is on the Whole Planet Foundation Board of Directors.
Robb's presentation is free and open to the public.
