Career Services is hosting a workshop to help UNC students and alumni prepare for the Feb. 21 Spring Job and Internship Fair. The workshop will be offered Wednesday, Feb. 13, and will be repeated Tuesday, Feb. 19.
Both sessions will be from 4-5 p.m. in the University Center's Aspen C room.
Information presented will include what you can do before the fair to prepare, what to wear to the event, how to get noticed and stand out in a positive way with employers at the fair, and what to expect when attending the event.

The Monfort Executive Professor Speaker Series continues Feb. 14 when Mark Neville from State Farm Insurance, presents "Tips for Interviewing" from 9:30-10:45 a.m. in Milne Auditorium (Kepner 2050). The presentation is free for UNC students, faculty and staff.
With more than 20 years of experience at State Farm, including 10 years in human resources, Neville has gained an insightful perspective about corporate culture. He's currently a claim team manager and earned a bachelor's degree from California State University Long Beach in 1987.

The second film in the Department of Modern Languages and the French Club's spring film series will be Notre Dame de Paris, showing at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in Candelaria 0045. The film, shown in French with English subtitles, is free and open to the public.
The Office of Financial Aid will host its annual UNC Scholarship Fair 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the University Center ballrooms. Faculty and staff are asked to remind student employees and advisees about this opportunity to learn about scholarship opportunities and application deadlines.
Students can register for a drawing to win one of two $1,000 scholarships for the 2013-14 academic year. Free refreshments will be served.
