UNC's Sustainability Council has launched the new Sustainability at UNC website, accessible via the "Quicklinks" section of the UNC home page and under "Sustainability" in the A-Z index. The site includes information about the many sustainability projects underway on campus as well as those in the community, with links to more information.
This centralized website will serve as a clearinghouse of all ongoing sustainability and related activities and projects at UNC, to increase participation in sustainability efforts and to educate the broader community as UNC moves forward with a transformational vision for the future.

Each year Dining Services celebrates the holiday season by offering a special menu to the campus community. Faculty and staff are invited to join students at the "Home for the Holidays" special dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Holmes Dining Hall or Tobey-Kendel Dining Room. The menu will feature some American regional cuisine, showing off a little bit of what the U.S. has to offer.
No matter where you are from, you probably have a special dish or a special meal that reminds you of home. Dining Services hopes that you find something in the menu that brings you back or maybe even creates a new feeling of holiday spirit, as you are home for the holidays here at UNC.
Dining Services offers a variety of dining options in Holmes Dining Hall, Tobey-Kendel Dining Room, the University Center Food Court and Bears Bistro, where you can enjoy meals for $5.85 (includes tax) each using the Faculty/Staff Payroll Deduction Plan (meals and purchases at campus retail dining outlets are deducted monthly from your paycheck).
