Join the UNC Alumni Association on Sunday, Dec. 9, to celebrate the holiday season at one of Colorado's most beautiful and spectacular outdoor exhibits at the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.
Guests will enjoy holiday entertainment, light refreshments, arts and crafts, and over 1 million twinkling lights illuminating a winding path through the beautiful Colorado countryside.

Join UNC's shared governance groups in "Helping Hand," an joint project to find and assist a UNC employee who could use some extra help this holiday season. Nominations for someone to help are due Friday, Nov. 30, and donations of cash or gift cards (no checks or food; cash donated will be used to buy gift cards) are being accepted. The benefits open enrollment for faculty and exempt staff will run through Wednesday, Nov. 28. Employees can change medical or dental plans, enroll in or change optional life insurance, enroll in or change optional accidental death and dismemberment coverage, enroll in or discontinue the Vision Service Plan, change from pretax to after-tax (or vice-versa), change optional retirement program vendors, enroll in flexible spending plans, and enroll in or discontinue AFLAC plans during open enrollment. By virtue of the Bears volleyball team's first-place finish last season, UNC will host this season's Big Sky Conference Volleyball Championships Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23-24, at Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion. The fourth-seeded Bears will play fifth-seeded North Dakota at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, in the championship's first semi-final match. Only ticket packages for all five matches of the tournament are being sold. The package price for faculty and staff is $20, a $10 discount, with a current UNC Card.
