Housing and Residential Education is looking for resident assistants for the 2013-14 academic year, with an application deadline of Jan. 31, 2013. A job description, the schedule of informational sessions in January, instructions for the application process and other important information is available on the HRE website.
Applications will be taken in Ursa Dec. 19-Jan. 31.

Around Campus is taking advantage of the winter break and chilling out for a few weeks. It will return the second week in January. Have a great break and a wonderful holiday season!
Instead of selling your textbooks or packing them away and never using them again, consider donating them to UNC Veterans Services' new Boots to Books program, which will allow veteran- and military-connected students to readily access books if they experience delays receiving VA book stipend benefits.
If you have recent or used editions of textbooks for courses that are currently offered at UNC and want to help out a fellow UNC student who's served his or her country or is a dependent of someone who did, drop them by Veterans Services in Roudebush Cottage, just east of Gray Hall.
