A free online broadcast of the Bears' first-round match of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament against the Oregon Ducks will be available at 9 p.m. tonight, Nov. 30, at www.goducks.com. Click on the "NCAA Volleyball Tournament Central" banner at the top right of the page and then on "Watch Live Online" under the "Schedule" section of the next page. A radio broadcast will be available at www.uncbears.com.
Choirs from the University of Northern Colorado's School of Music will present their annual concert of holiday music at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Union Colony Civic Center. Performing groups will include the Men's and Women's Glee Clubs, the Concert Choir and the Prima Voce Chamber Choir.
The concert will feature the choral ensembles performing songs such as "The Shepherd's Pipe Carol," "Ding Dong, Merrily on High" and "Angels from the Realms of Glory" and the combined choirs performing a carol medley titled "A Christmas Flourish" and other holiday classics.
Tickets for the holiday concert are $10 for adults and $7 for students, and are available by calling the Performing Arts box office at 351-2200, the UCCC box office at 356-5000 or at the UCCC website.
The December Read-In from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in Michener Library will commemorate Pearl Harbor Day with the reading of words written about or spoken about World War II and the "Greatest Generation."

Read-Ins are held the first Tuesday of every month November-May (except January) and are sponsored by the English Education program and University Libraries.

The 8th Annual Colorado Combined Campaign Chili Cook-off is back. From 11-1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4 in the UC Ballrooms, indulge in an array of homemade chili dishes topped off with the sweetness of a cinnamon roll... for just $3.
Trophies will be awarded for "Most Unique," "Best Green Chili" and "Best Red Chili." Swing by the UC ballrooms to support local charities and mingle with UNC employees, students and members of the community at this cost friendly event.

UNC women's basketball returns home after two weeks of playing on the road when they go up against North Dakota State University, Sunday, Dec. 2. Bring your Bear pride and spirit to help cheer on the Bears. Don't forget your student ID to get into the game free. Sing along with drag performers as they lip sync some of today's most popular songs at "Apocalipstick: The Drag Show at the End of the World," on Friday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m in the UC ballrooms. There is no chrage at the door, and all tips made will support UNC's Spectrum and the Northern Colorado AIDS Project nonprofit organization.
