If you're graduating this week and your family or out-of-town friends have been asking you for details about your Dec. 14 commencement ceremony, all you need to tell them is: www.unco.edu/commencement/. That's where they (or you) can get directions to Butler-Hancock, find out about parking (it's free!), learn about ceremony etiquette, get instructions for viewing a live webcast if they can't be there in person, and much more.
If you think you've got what it takes to be one of the final 12 performers in the UNC's Got Talent competition in January, you have to start by auditioning Dec. 3 or 4. Dancers, jugglers, magicians, singers, instrumentalists and everything in between are welcome to try out.
Each audition slot between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the UC ballrooms is 10-minutes long and seen by a panel of judges to decide the final lineup on Jan. 16.
For more info, contact Kacie Thomas, 351-3204.
Hit the books and the slopes during UNC's Interim Session, which runs from Dec.16-Jan. 10. Registration for all students is now underway in Ursa for more than 40 courses being offered. Earn up to four credits in four weeks and get a step closer to graduation. A complete list of courses and additional registration information can be found at the Interim Session website.
