Everything Your Family Wanted to Know About Commencement

If you're graduating this week and your family or out-of-town friends have been asking you for details about your Dec. 14 commencement ceremony, all you need to tell them is: That's where they (or you) can get directions to Butler-Hancock, find out about parking (it's free!), learn about ceremony etiquette, get instructions for viewing a live webcast if they can't be there in person, and much more.

UNC's Got Talent Auditions Dec. 3-4

If you think you've got what it takes to be one of the final 12 performers in the UNC's Got Talent competition in January, you have to start by auditioning Dec. 3 or 4. Dancers, jugglers, magicians, singers, instrumentalists and everything in between are welcome to try out.

Each audition slot between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the UC ballrooms is 10-minutes long and seen by a panel of judges to decide the final lineup on Jan. 16.

  • Sign up for Tuesday, Dec. 3, here.
  • Sign up for Wednesday, Dec. 4, here.
