Friday has finally arrived, which means two days and three nights of free time and fun things to do with friends. If you're looking for a good time on campus or nearby, here are a few suggestions:

UNC Women's Basketball vs. Regis University (Exhibition)
Date and time: Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.
Location: Butler Hancock Hall/Sports Pavilion

Cheer on your Lady Bears as they take on Regis University in the season-opening exhibition game. Students, bring your school ID's to get into the game for free!

Performing Arts Series - ‘Parade'
Date and time: Saturday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m.
Location: Norton Theatre (Gray Hall)

Further Your Studies with Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Find out more about two unique summer research opportunties for undergraduate students at UNC during an informational meeting from 5-6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5 in the Center for Honors, Scholars and Leadership (Michener L-98).

UNC Volleyball Takes on North Dakota

UNC volleyball will host Big Sky Conference newcomer North Dakota State University on Monday night. The ladies need student support to take the W so come with all your school spirit! RSVP Holiday Bake and Craft Sale Nov. 8

The Weld County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, will host its annual Holiday Bake and Craft Sale from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in Brown Hall. Stop by and check out the large variety of handmade craft items and delicious baked goods made by RSVP volunteers.

'That Takes Ovaries!' Play is Part of UNC Women's Conference

Hear and share real-life stories from women and girls about the courageous, outrageous things they have done during a production of "That Takes Ovaries!," from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, as part of the UNC Women's Conference in the University Center ballrooms.

Play co-writer Bobbi Ausubel will be present and you don't need to be registered for the conference to attend.

Those who choose to present get a chocolate egg wrapped in gold foil to symbolize a Golden Ovary. Show your courageous and outrageous personality without shame, and help other women do the same.
