The U.S. Department of Education has awarded University of Northern Colorado researcher Kay Ferrell a three-year, $1.291 million grant for a study involving infants and toddlers with visual impairment.

UNC Meteorology Student Selected for Prestigious Workshop, Scholarship

UNC meteorology major Tim Corrie received two pieces of good news during spring semester when he learned he was one of 21 students from across the country selected to attend the National Center for Atmospheric Research's Undergraduate Leadership Workshop this summer, and that he's the sole recipient of the North American Weather Modification Council's annual $1,500 scholarship and $1,000 travel stipend.
