Associate professor of School of Sports and Exercise Science. Specialist in cancer research and treatment, particularly the effects of specific drugs and physical activity to help alleviate the side effects of chemotherapy; and the effect of exercise on ischemia-reperfusion injury (lack of blood flow to tissues and organs and subsequent damage after the blood flow is restored), particularly in the heart, blood vessels and intestines.
