Professor and Chair of Counselor Education and Supervision. Specialist in the training and education of counselors, counselor supervision, counseling children and adolescents, social privilege and oppression, and mentorship and mentoring practices. Co-recipient of the 2002 College of Education Teaching Award; recipient of the 2010 College of Education and Behavioral Sciences Teaching Award, and winner of the Colorado Child and Adolescent Mental Health Coalition 1997 Exemplary Mental Health Administrator Award. Co-editor of the journal of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision.
