Professor of Economics. Specialist in environmental and natural resource economics. His research involves the economics of water resources and the economics of nonnative invasive species. Examples of projects include analysis of the economic benefits of improved water quality in lakes; estimation of economic damages from invasive species; and the optimal management of nonnative rangeland weeds. Author of articles in journals such as Ecological Economics, Environmental and Resource Economics, Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics, and Water Resource Economics.
