Founding president of the Margaret Atwood Society and president of the Doris Lessing Society. Author of "Myths and Fairy Tales in Contemporary Women's Fiction," "Margaret Atwood's Fairy-Tale Sexual Politics," co-editor of "Approaches to Teaching Atwood's 'The Handmaid's Tale' and Other Works" and editor of "Margaret Atwood's Textual Assassinations: Recent Poetry and Fiction." Winner of the Margaret Atwood Society Best Book 2003 Award.
