Fall Faculty Recital Series Begins Sept. 16

Faculty from the University of Northern Colorado's School of Music offer outstanding professional performances in intimate settings during the Artist Faculty Recital Series, which begins its fall season Monday, Sept. 16, when music professors John Adler, trumpet, and Justin Zanchuk, trumpet, take the stage of Hensel Phelps Theatre in the Union Colony Civic Center at 8 p.m.

Other performances within the series include:

  • Monday, Sept. 23: Jason Byrnes, tuba
  • Tuesday, Sept. 24: Melissa Malde, voice; Caleb Harris, piano
  • Tuesday, Oct. 8: Eldred Spell, guest flute; Kathy Moore, harp
  • Tuesday, Oct. 15: Nat Wickham, trombone
  • Monday, Nov. 4: William Wilson, voice; Stephen Pierce, piano
  • Monday, Nov. 18: Gal Faganel, cello; Caleb Harris, piano

All recitals begin at 8 p.m. Monday recitals are in the Hensel Phelps Theatre at Greeley's Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Ave. Tuesday recitals are in Milne Auditorium (room 2050) in Kepner Hall, intersection of 8th Ave. and 17th Street. Parking in UNC lots is free after 5 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students and are available through the Performing Arts Box Office at 351-2200.
