Research Day is part of Academic Excellence Week, an annual event to celebrate and honor academic excellence throughout the university. AEW is coordinated and sponsored by the Center for Honors, Scholars and Leadership in conjunction with various academic programs and offices across the campus.

Important Info from HR about New I-9 Form

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has issued a new I-9 form that's available for use immediately at http://www.unco.edu/hr/forms along with instructions and a PowerPoint training presentation.

Please note that Human Resources will not accept the old I-9 form after May 1, and it's very important that offices purge any old I-9 forms that have been printed. As a reminder, the forms found on the HR website will always be the most current ones.

Additional information and webinars about the new form can be found at www.uscis.gov/I-9Central.

Questions can be directed to Human Resources at 970-351-2718.

Reminder: April 22 Last Day for Input on UNC Logos

Help UNC evaluate its logos by taking the online survey before midnight April 22. The purpose of the review is to determine if the current logos convey a positive image of the university and form a cohesive visual identity. Input from students, faculty, staff, alumni, community members and other university stakeholders is critical to the evaluation process.

The logo review is being conducted by a working group with representatives across campus and the community. At the completion of the group's evaluation, a report will be created to recommend next steps. No assumptions should be made regarding what logos, if any, may change. The working group may recommend "no changes." An announcement of the recommendations will be made after the group's report is completed by summer 2013.

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

For more information, see visit www.unco.edu/LogoSurvey.

Everyone who brings paper for shredding will be eligible to participate in a raffle for prizes.
