Dining Services: Safety Tips For Cooking Out

Are you one of those die-hard winter grill masters who'll shovel out a couple feet of snow to get to the grill, with tongs in one hand and a flashlight in the other? If so, you probably enjoy this time of year when outdoor cooking and dining become much easier.

Having a meal outdoors with friends and family is one of the rituals of spring and summer, but there are some food safety items you should go through before firing up that grill or setting out the picnic blanket. Find out more on the Dining Services website.

Dining Services offers a variety of dining options in Holmes Dining Hall, Tobey-Kendel Dining Room, the University Center Food Court and Bears Bistro, where you can enjoy meals for $5.85 (includes tax) each using the Faculty/Staff Payroll Deduction Plan (meals and purchases at campus retail dining outlets are deducted monthly from your paycheck).

Download the application form. See this week's menus.
