UNC Women's Team Qualifies for NCAA Tournament After Winning Big Sky Tournament

Bears Win Big Sky Championship

Ethridge Named Big Sky Coach of the Year

Women's basketball coach Kamie Ethridge earned her first career Big Sky Coach of the Year honor, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon. School of Communication Conference Free with UNC ID

The School of Communication is hosting the annual Society for the Academic Study of Social Imagery (SASSI) conference, March 9-10, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Greeley at Lincoln Park. Conference attendance is free to anyone with a UNC ID. The conference theme is "The Image of REDEMPTION in Literature, Media, and Society." Approximately 40 scholars from around the country, representing a variety of disciplines, will be sharing their work. One highlight is a Saturday morning Skype session with incarcerated women and the redemption they find in community work. Visit the website for more information and to see the program.
