UNC Institutional Learning Outcomes Topic of Assessment Fair

The University Assessment Council invites the campus community to the 2018 Assessment Fair, 11:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. March 28. This year's Assessment Fair kicks off with a luncheon presentation and discussion of UNC's Institutional Learning Outcomes, followed by a poster session featuring the 2017 Assessment Mini-Grant recipients. UNC Reisher Scholars present "Immigrants and Refugees in Greeley"

The Transfer '16 Reisher Scholars cohort is hosting a presentation March 6 around the topic of immigrants and refugees in Greeley. The presentation, 2:30-4:30 p.m. in the University Center ballrooms, will feature guest speaker Collin Conner, director of Advocacy at the Immigrant and Refugee Center of Northern Colorado. The Reisher Scholars Program is a scholarship program at UNC that provides post-secondary educational opportunities for high academic achieving Colorado students who do not have sufficient financial resources, with the goal to graduate college in a timely manner and with minimal additional educational debt.!

PASC Accepting Council Position Nominations for 2018-19

The Professional Administrative Staff Council (PASC) will have 16 open council positions for the 2018-20 academic year. Please click here to nominate yourself or your colleagues for these open council positions. If you nominate a colleague, please confirm with your colleague that they accept the nomination. The deadline to nominate is 5 p.m. March 16.

PASC was established in 1986 to represent exempt staff and advise the university on matters relevant to its constituents and to participate in university governance. For more information, visit unco.edu/pasc.

Proposals for Flipped Learning Conference

Proposals for the third annual Higher Education Flipped Learning Conference (June 14-15 at UNC) are being accepted through March 12 and then on a rolling basis as room in the program allows. The conference will bring together higher education flipped classroom practitioners to exchange information, highlight faculty engaged in assessment of flipped classrooms, and discuss the future of flipped learning in higher education including professional development. RSVPs for Staff Recognition Banquet Due March 9

RSVPs for UNC's 47th annual Employee Recognition Banquet and Silent Auction from 5-8:30 p.m. on Monday, March 26, in the University Center ballrooms are due by Friday, March 9. All UNC employees receive a complimentary meal. Guests may purchase a meal at cost. Click here to RSVP.

UNC DREAMer Day Feb. 28
