UNC Students to Assist in Relief Efforts in Puerto Rico

The group of 22 students, led by UNC graduate student Gabe Christie and UNC junior Mallory Gibson, will work on a host of projects in Puerto Rico over spring break. Their tasks will include planting trees, repairing roofs of buildings and rebuilding other structures. UNC Fall 2017 Fact Book Now Available

The Office of Institutional Reporting and Analysis Services (IRAS) has released the UNC Fall 2017 Fact Book. Fact books are the primary publication of many institutional research offices; their purpose is to summarize important baseline information about enrollment and yearly outcomes to the campus community and to the public. A pdf copy of the UNC Fall 2017 Fact Book can be accessed online via the IRAS webpage.

Research Studies Seek Volunteers

Volunteers are needed for research projects being conducted at the University of Northern Colorado. Participation is open to anyone who meets the stated criteria and wants to help support discoveries in the public interest. A project currently in need of volunteers is:

  • A study seeking college students assessing visual perception of size after a task is completed.
  • A study exploring the relationship between humor and diabetes control.

CSC/PASC Seek Silent Auction Donations

Tutorial Services to Host Study Night Feb. 27 at the UC

Please remind your students about tomorrow's Study Night at the UC from 4-8 p.m. at the tables by the food court. Peer tutors will offer support in natural and health sciences, social sciences, math and business. The College of Natural and Health Sciences will provide snacks. All UNC undergraduate students are welcome to attend this free drop-in event.

UNC Sustainable Bears: Tip of the Week

Turn down the heating set point on thermostats by 3 degrees, 4 hours a day, throughout the month. If every member of campus did this, it would result in $3,850 of utility savings this week and reduce the carbon footprint. Remember to visit UNC's People.Power.Planet site to learn more ways to save.
