UNC in the News: Cancer Rehab Training Featured in Hawaii

Opening Reception of Artist-in-Residence Exhibit

The opening reception of UNC alumna Katelynn Mai-Fusco's exhibit will be from 5-7 p.m. today in the Oak Room Gallery (Crabbe Hall room 201). UNC's artist-in-residence created an immersive cut paper installation titled "Amity." The result references inspiration the artist gathers from everyday life, such as the flowing Poudre River and family heirloom textiles. "Amity" will remain on view through the month of February.

Honorary Captain Opportunity for Kids

If your child between the ages of 4 and 12 is a Bears basketball fan and would be interested in a unique basketball experience, sign him or her up for a chance to be an honorary captain at one of this season's men's or women's basketball games.

All season long the teams will be selecting one child per game to be a Banner Health NCMC Honorary Captain.

The Honorary Captain experience includes but is not limited to: a Bears T-shirt, a chance to watch warm-ups from the bench, in-game recognition and four complimentary tickets for friends and family (ticket for honorary captain in included in the four tickets).

UNC Hosts Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship

Join UNC Athletics and the Knights of Columbus for the Second Annual Free Throw Championship at Bank of Colorado Arena on Saturday. The event if free and open to youth ages 9-14.
