Minimum Wage Increases Jan. 1

The Colorado minimum wage will increase on Jan. 1 to $10.20 per hour from $9.30 per hour. Payroll will adjust hourly rates for all current employees who are making less than $10.20 per hour. No paperwork is needed for current employees.

EPAF originators should make a note of this and submit new employees at the new rate of $10.20 or higher for jobs with start dates after Dec 31, 2017.

The increase is the result of the passage of Amendment 70 in the 2016 general election.

If you have questions, contact the Payroll office at 351-2700.
