Share your Campus Climate Efforts

Are you being recognized for the good work you are doing to create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive campus? Campus is invited to submit details of their events, programs, performances, research and scholarship, classroom and workplace successes and innovations, special recognition and accomplishments, that further strengthen the UNC climate. Submissions will be highlighted in the monthly Campus Climate Initiative (CCI) progress update honoring the efforts of UNC students, faculty and staff.

UNC One of Two Universities Selected to Partner on National Collaborative

The University of Northern Colorado has been selected as one of two partner universities in the Active Schools national collaborative to address physical inactivity and obesity among youth. In addition, UNC Sport and Exercise Science (SES) faculty Russell Carson and Brian Dauenhauer have been appointed to positions on the nonprofit organization's leadership committees. Continue Reading

Graduate Teaching Assistantships Available for UNIV 101 Program Fall 2018

UNC's University 101 program, an LAC elective course to support first-semester freshmen, is recruiting instructors for the 2018 fall semester. Applicants should have at least a master's degree and have been accepted into a UNC doctoral program (areas in education, counseling, and psychology are preferred). Positions are 18-hour per week graduate teaching assistantships (9-hrs are possible) and include tuition remission and doctoral-level stipend (for the Fall semester only). Review of applications will begin March 9 and continue until all appointments are made.
