Dlink Tips
There is no specific "place" or "button" in a web page
editor that allows you to add d-links automatically. You must create these yourself.
- There are two parts:
- link to the description (placed beside the graphic needing to be described)
- page of descriptive text (plain HTML page with description)
- Step 1: Create the page with the description (simply another web
page to which the Dlink links)
- Step 2: Add link to descriptive page next to graphic
- Make the linking text descriptive enough that someone clicking on it
knows what they're asking for.
- Example: "Read Description of Logo" instead of
- Make the link blend with the page's background color so sighted users
don't get distracted by it.
