Alt Tag Tips
- Keep It Simple - If your alt tag starts getting too long (over 8-10 words),
your graphic probably fits into the fourth category (a content-rich graphic),
which needs to be treated a little differently.
- For Action Graphics, begin your alt tag with a VERB. You are wanting your
user to DO something, so convey that action in the alt tag you write.
- Always ask "What purpose is this graphic serving?"
- Make sure your Alt Tag is effective - convey the content and
purpose of the graphic concisely
