HLC Self-Study Report Draft Available for Comment
A draft of the self-study report UNC is preparing as part of its HLC accreditation review is available online for the campus community. A team of consultant evaluators from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (HLC) will be on campus Sept. 20-22. The draft self-study report has been written with input from the HLC Steering Committee, criterion subcommittees and writing team. The report is under revision to sharpen its focus, increase evaluative comments about the university’s fulfillment of HLC criteria, update the document with developments from Charting the Future, reduce redundancies, eliminate errors, add index codes and verify Web sites, create a consistent style, and improve the document’s readability. Editing will continue until the document is ready for submission this July. Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
