Welcome to the University of Northern Colorado Multicultural
Affairs web site! The office of Multicultural Affairs advances UNC’s
mission and vision by advocating for underrepresented populations and
by serving as a catalyst for student development and achievement, cultural
competency, institutional equity, and diversity.
- APASS - The
mission of the Asian/Pacific American Student Services (A/PASS) is to
provide academic and social support to the Asian American and Pacific
Islander student body as well as to increase the University and larger
community's awareness of the different cultures within these populations.
- CCCC - Our
mission is to enhance student recruitment, retention, and graduation
with a focused emphasis on the Latino/Hispanic student by fostering
an environment which will result in a more successful and positive university
experience.
- Marcus Garvey - The
Marcus Garvey Center for Black Cultural Education was established in
1982 as a source of support for Black students on the campus of the
University of Northern Colorado. The staff and programs of the Center
are designed to "Challenge," "Support," and to increase
retention and graduation of Black students.
- NASS -
The mission of Native American Student Services is
to provide academic, social, emotional, and cultural support to all
UNC students with a special emphasis on Native American students and
to promote Native American culture with events and activities for the
campus and community.
