Beth Kovacs serves as State Coordinator for The Colorado History Day Program, the Colorado branch of National History Day. This year-long education program engages students in grades 6-12 in the process of discovery and interpretation of historical topics. Students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will help them manage and use information now and in the future.

Before becoming part of the CHD team, she worked as Education Outreach Coordinator for WFUM, the PBS station for the University of Michigan. Beth received her B.A. in History and Communications (2000) at the University of Michigan-Riverside Campus and her M.A. in History (2004) at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Her historical interests focus on Early Modern Europe, specifically England.
