One of the benefits to being a McNair Scholar is the opportunity to present your research at a national conference. The McNair Scholars Program pays all conference registration fees, transportation costs, lodging, and meal costs for McNair-sponsored conference attendance. The only requirement is that you must present your McNair research project (poster or oral presentation). In addition to attending a McNair-funded conference, you may also be interested in presenting at a professional or other undergraduate conference. Your mentor can help you find conferences in your discipline, and the McNair staff can help you identify funding opportunities. Some conferences you might want to consider are listed here. American Psychological Association Convention Association for Asian Studies Conferences The National Association for Chicana and Chicano Studies National Association for Ethnic Studies National Conference for Undergraduate Research National Society of Black Engineers National Convention National Undergraduate Bioethics Conference National Undergraduate Literature Conference Rocky Mountain Psychological Association Undergraduate Philosophy Conference
