Event Request Form

Thank you for your interest in hosting your event at the Marcus Garvey Cultural Center. It is our hope that we are able to accommodate your needs. Please note the following guidelines as you move forward in making your decision about reserving our space:

  • The MGCC hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 8am-7pm; Friday 8am-5pm. Hours are subject to change based on staff availability.
  • Requests to reserve space at the MGCC must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event.
  • The completed form must be submitted to Talia.Carroll@unco.edu and Cateline.Corbin@unco.edu for the request to be considered.
  • Staff may request a phone or in-person meeting to review details before making a final decision about the use of the space.
  • Staff will do their best to send the requester a response about the decision within 48 hours.
