Services for Community Borrowers
Any resident of Colorado may get a Community Borrower's card at the University Libraries. To get a card, fill out an application at the Michener or Music Library Circulation Desk.
You must show two items that verify your current Colorado address, such as:
- Driver's license
- ID with address
- Cancelled mail
- Check book
You must also present a picture ID if the items used for address verification do not include a photo.
Your card will be mailed to you, and will be valid for one year.
Community borrowers may check out up to 20 items at one time. Items may be renewed twice. Community borrowers may not check out or renew items if they have any unpaid library fines.
Prospector and Interlibrary Loan services are not available to community borrowers.
Online Library Resources
Community borrowers may use online library resources while in Michener or Skinner Libraries. Public computers are available on the 1st floor of Michener Library and in the Computer Commons in Skinner Music Library.
Remote access to databases and online journals is not available to community borrowers.
