What's New in the Library
Howard M. Skinner Music Library Named
The dedication of the Howard M. Skinner Music Library was held at a ceremony unveiling the new sign in front of the library on May 6, 2005. Addressing those present were UNC President Kay Norton, Dean of Libraries Gary Pitkin, and Dr. Howard Skinner.

Music Notebook PCs
There are 5 notebook PCs available to check out from the circulation desk for up to three hours.
Networking Update
The Music Library has wireless access from anywhere in the building.
Gifts
- Collections received included 4595 items. Most notable were donations of journal issues, LPs and scores Joe Tennessen, a local patron of the arts donated a complete collection of framed art-quality posters from the series of UNC Galas. They are rotated on the wall display each semester for viewing enjoyment.
