A. The SOURCE  (source.unco.edu) - Many Colorado state and U.S. Government Publications are catalogued into the library's public catalog.

B. Government Printing Office  - database contains cataloging records for government reports published since 1994.

II. Indexes to Statistical Publications and Data

A. Lexis-Nexis Statistical Universe (http://www.lexis-nexis.com/statuniv) - A subscription service that indexes federal and state statistical publications and data on agency web servers. This link will connect you to the home page for all our CIS subscriptions. Select "STATISTICAL UNIVERSE" from that page.

B. FEDSTATS (http://www.fedstats.gov) - An free online search service for data produced by Federal Agencies.

A. Health United States. (HE 20.7072/6: ) - 2007 edition and previous editions back to 1975 are available from the CDC web site at: http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/hus.htm

C. Healthy People 2010.  http://www.health.gov/healthypeople. - History of program and statements of new goals and objectives.

D. Vital Statistics of the United States. (HE 20.6210: ) - Births, deaths (numbers and causes), marriages and divorces. State and County level data. All data for 1990 - 1993, plus "Natality" (birth) data for 1994, 1997, 1998, and 1999 is available at:  www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/pubs/pubd/vsus/vsus.htm

D. CHILDSTATS (www.childstats.gov) - Official website of the Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics. It's major publications is America's Children: Key National Indicators of Well-Being.

VI. Federal Agency Web sites with general demographic data

A. U.S. Census Bureau (http://www.census.gov) - Most of the demographic data from the 1990 Census of Population and Housing along with many Census Bureau publications that have appeared since 1990. The search engine that will access available 2000 census data is called the American Factfinder (factfinder.census.gov/servlet/BasicFactsServlet).
