Volunteer Opportunities
Become an active participant!
The Friends of the UNC Libraries offers many opportunities for participation. As a member of the Friends organization you can:
- Offer services as a volunteer at receptions and other events.
- Assist with functions related to exhibits by authors, artists, and special collectors.
- Prepare special brochures about the Libraries and the Friends organizations.
- Contribute time, talent and energy to fund-raising activities.
- Extend an invitation to membership to all persons interested in the purposes of the Friends organization.

Officers serve two year terms and manage the affairs of the Friends of the UNC Libraries; plan and publicize programs; disperse funds; recruit members; record minutes and attendance at meetings; maintain the organization's scrapbook; and serve as parlimentarians.
