A large academic multi-disciplinary database providing indexing for over 8,000 journals and full text for nearly 4,700 (including more than 3,600 peer-reviewed journals). PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for some journals.
North American Theatre Online (Alexander Street Press)
Contains over 40,000 pages of full-text material from major reference sources, as well as in-depth details about more than 10,000 plays, theatrical ephemera such as playbills and posters, and links to related web sites. The database will continue to grow quarterly, with the goal of eventually covering everything related to the North American stage from the 1600s to the present.
ArtSearch provides job listings in all areas of theatre work. Requires a user name and password, available from the online user name and password list (click on User Names and Passwords, then enter your name and UNC ID number) or from the Michener Library Reference Desk at 351-2562.
