1982-present. CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) covers journals, books, and other materials in nursing and several allied health fields. Pre-CINAHL, a companion database, provides current awareness of new journal articles, and enables users to gain access to article citations that are in the process of being added to CINAHL.

1946-present. PubMed is a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine that includes over 21 million citations from biomedical and life science journals. To determine more easily if UNC has access to the full text of articles, login using the username and password available from the online user name and password list (click on User Names and Passwords, then enter your name and UNC ID number).
