Deutsches Wörterbuch von Jacob und Wilhelm Grimm im Internet

Dictionary of the Scots Language

The Dictionary of the Scots Language combines electronic editions of the two major historical dictionaries of the Scots language: the Dictionary of the Older Scottish Tongue (DOST) and the Scottish National Dictionary (SND).

Gallica
(e-books and digital collections, image collections)
Begun in 1997 as the major digitization project at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Gallica includes full-text of over 100,000 volumes and 300,000 images covering the Middle Ages to the beginning of the twentieth century, with an emphasis on nineteenth-century material. Residing in Gallica are dictionaries and encyclopedias, journals, manuscripts, recordings and images.

PERSEE

Persée is a national digitization project of French academic journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences.  Persée provides full text access in pdf format to some of the most prestigious French journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The project aims at including the complete runs of journals, though dates of coverage vary and there is a moving wall of three to five years for recent issues, depending on the journal. The web site is available in both French and English.
