PATRICIA J. LUCAS
RECORD GROUP SC56


Patricia J. Lucas attended the Colorado State College of Education at Greeley (now the University of Northern Colorado) in 1952 and l953.  She became a teacher and was a long-time collector of publications by and about authors, D. H. Lawrence, Richard Aldington, and T. E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia).  At her death, Miss Lucas bequeathed her estate to the University of Northern Colorado with the request that her collection of books be known as the Charles H. Harris and Andrew E. Johnson Collection in honor of her grandparents.  They were Colorado pioneers.
