S12 Program Review Committee and Reports (PRET)

In March 1977, President Bond appointed an ad hoc committee to develop an on-going program review procedure. The committee of thirteen was appointed as the Program Review Committee with one member from each school and college. The committee responded in July 1977 presenting recommendations and a Program Review Procedures Manual. The recommendation was that the program of each department be reviewed every five years. A copy of the committee report has not been located as of December 1985. About a half dozen "PRET" reports were done in 1981, 1982, and 1983. Faculty members from other departments were appointed to do each program review and hearings were held with department personnel and others making statements.
