Alumni news publications were published under several names and formats.  Archives is missing many copies in the years between 1974-77.

CSC On Site  was a monthly publication of the Department of Public Services and Development of Colorado State College which was first published in January 1970. It was sent free to all requesting it, presumably to alumni.  With Volume 2 in 1971, the title was changed to UNC On Site to reflect the new name of the institution. At that time, the frequency was retained at one month but publication was only during the months of the academic year. By Volume 4, the title was changed to UNC Alumni News.

The publication was in an 11" x 18" format consisting of one large folded sheet with a place for mailing address. There were three or four columns and a number of pictures of individuals, buildings and events on campus. For example, there is a picture of Cranford Hall before it was demolished and a picture of the fire at Michener Library during construction. They are quite clear pictures on good paper stock and could easily be duplicated if needed.

Sometime later, Alumni News was changed to a quarterly with several additional pages. Three or four pages are devoted to news of individual alumni.  The file on Alumni News is not complete.
