- UNC Libraries Student Employee Application Form (Google Chrome users see note below)
Student employees are vital in meeting the Libraries' goals and objectives to provide a wide variety of services to the University Community and beyond. The University Libraries employs approximately 100 students throughout the fall, spring, and summer sessions. Students who are awarded work study through the financial aid process primarily make up the work force and are urged to apply. Non-work study (hourly) applications are accepted and kept on file in the rare instance that the Libraries are unable to hire enough work study students and may need to hire a few hourly student employees. Students are involved in every aspect of providing Library services in the James A. Michener Library and the Skinner Music Library. Duties vary from public services assistance to technical processing.
