These exhibits consist of photographs taken by Tessa J. Dalton while traveling with James A. Michener who was doing research for his novel, Centennial.  Some images may appear in more than one exhibit:  More images and more categories will be added in the near future.
  
The photographs that are in the exhibits below are only secondarily about the particular subject matter illustrated.  The primary purpose for sharing these images is to demonstrate one aspect of the research process that James A. Michener followed in his writing research.
