Application Procedure

Download the application or call (970) 351-1691 to have one mailed.

All applications must contain:

1. Application form
2. Detailed resume
3. Official high school transcript
4. Two letters of recommendation (either enclosed or mailed separately)

Applications will be accepted and reviewed starting January 1, 2008. The preferential deadline is March 1, 2008, and the final deadline is May 1, 2008. Early applicants will be given preference. Applicants will be notified within six weeks concerning their eligibility for an interview. In-state applicants will be required to have a personal interview with PLP staff. Interview days will be scheduled in Greeley, Denver, and Colorado Springs. Out-of-state applicants will be required to complete a personal interview when here for a campus visit.

After the interview, if granted, applicants will be informed of their PLP admission status as quickly as possible, usually mid summer.

Selection Criteria

PLP students are selected for their leadership experience and potential, academic excellence and demonstrated interest outside of self.
